【中止】国際交流ウィーラースクール in 名護
スクール中止のお知らせ
（名護の子どもたちだけの縮小版に切り替えての募集も行っておりましたが、こちらも含めて全て中止です。）
開催を楽しみにしてくださった皆様には大変申し訳ありませんが、何卒ご理解をいただけますよう、よろしくお願いします。
この「国際交流ウィーラースクール」の取り組みは、スタッフ一同、ぜひ実現させたいと考えていますので、再度開催が決定しましたら、お知らせいたします。
Wielerschool International in NAGO
2020年、ウィーラースクールは新しい試みをスタートします。
「一人でも多くの子どもに、自転車の楽しみを」を合言葉に、日本各地で自転車教育をこれまで展開してきました。
そんな中、近年、美山町をはじめとした各地で、「自転車乗車技術の向上」だけでなく、子ども自身が「サイクリングを楽しむ環境を自ら守る」という感性を身につけられる事を目的とした取り組みをスタートさせています。
自転車に乗ることは、子どもたちのこれからの人生にとって、とても大切な行為であること。
例えば、彼らが将来、豊かな人生を生きるために必要な感性を身につけるには、自転車を有効に活用することがとても大切である、という考え方が、わたしたちウィーラースクールでの自転車教育の基礎となっています。
ただ単に自転車に乗るだけでなく、そこから生まれるざまざまな経験を通じ、人として豊かな感性を持つ大人に育ってほしいという願いです。
この考え方を基礎に、今年、新たなステップとして、自転車を通じた子どもたちの国際交流にチャレンジします。
台湾のサイクリングアプリ新進企業、Velodash 、沖縄県サイクルツーリズム推進協会、そしてウィーラースクールジャパンがコラボして、双方の国の子どもたちが自転車（ウィーラースクール）を通じて友達になるイベントを企画することになりました。
名付けて、Wielerschool International in Nago (W.I.N)。
この取り組みが、台湾や沖縄県の子どもたちに、自転車を通じ互いの文化を知り、世界につながる夢を与えられること、そして国や言葉を超えた友情の可能性を導き出せることを目指します。
今回のウィーラースクールの体験が彼らにとって、人生の一つのカードになってくれるよう期待します。
In 2020, Wielerschool will start a new attempt!
“Have fun to ride a bicycle for as many children as possible”
We have held cycling school in many areas and developing education of bycicle throughout Japan.
In recent years, We aimed to in various places such as Miyama, not only improvement of riding skills, but also efforts at allowing children themselves to acquire the sensibility of protecting the environment to enjoy cycling themselves.
Cycling is a very important activity for children’s future.
For example, the idea that effective use of bicycles is very important for them to acquire the sensibilities needed to live a rich life in the future is the basis of bicycle education at our Wielerschool.
We have desire not only to ride a bicycle but also to bring up an adult who great sensibility person through various experiences.
This year, we will start a new step that based on this idea, we will challenge children’s international exchange with bicycles.
Taiwan-based cycling app startup company Velodash, Okinawa Prefecture Cycle Tourism Promotion Association, and Wielerschool Japan have collaborated to organize an event in which children from both countries become friends through cycling.
It’s called “Wielerschool International in Nago (W.I.N)”
It aims to give children in Taiwan and Okinawa a chance to learn about culture each other through bicycles, give them dreams of connecting to the world, and to develop the potential of friendship that transcends nations and languages.
We hope that this Wielerschool experience become to good of their life.

2泊3日で名護にやってくる台湾の子どもたちと、沖縄県名護市の子どもたちが、日本で一番楽しい自転車教室「ウィーラースクール」を舞台に国際交流をします！
このスクールに参加してくれる名護の子どもたちを大募集！
英語や台湾語ができなくても、もちろん大丈夫！
ウィーラースクールやBBQを一緒に楽しみながら、台湾の子どもたちとお友だちになってみよう！
